Finance and Development Oversight Committee Meeting Notes

March 11, 2008

Those attending: Nancy Hutson , Gil Schisler, Vinny Medero, Linda Shivers, Jackie Zebos

Meeting called to order at 6:04

Financial Review:

MBSI payment has been finalized.

Any additional outstanding bills are on track to be reconciled by the end of the fiscal year.

Development:

Winn  Dixie has donated $600 and the money was used for table and chairs.

The PRA continues to promote auction.  Nancy to follow up with Gary on dignitaries to receive invitations. 

The Moore Foundation letter was sent by Vinny.  He will follow up.

Old Business

The Summer Enrichment Program will not be pursued for 2008.  Further discussion will take place for 2008.

Vinny to follow up with Senator Crist’s office on exact wording for the dedication plaque.  Plagues will be presented onstage during the auction program.

Several Board Sponsorship checks have been received.  Board members should remit their money to Linda Shivers.  Any amount is acceptable and appreciated.

Jackie is ready to move forward on the pamphlet, Gil will have the art director that is willing to donate her time, call her.

New Business

The 2008-2008 budget and personnel were reviewed and will be presented at the Board Meeting.

Future meetings:

The April 2008 Financial and Development Oversight Committee meeting will be held on April 7, 2008 at 6:00pm at TCMS. 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:05pm.
