2008 Washington DC Field Trip Information
Our trip is scheduled for September 30 through October 3, 2008.
The cost is $999. We do not have
our itinerary set to date, but will have that finalized as it gets closer to
the trip. We will be visiting Williamsburg,
Jamestown, Mount Vernon
and the metropolitan area of Washington, DC
while on this trip.

up this fundraiser! We raised $535 for
our students!
Also our
TCMS 1st Annual Fun and Food Olympiad was a huge success! We raised $2700 that will be split among the
2008 and 2009 Washington, DC trips. We also had
a special guest, Juan Casiano, who awarded the
recipients scholarship certificate of the Cpt. Maria Ines Ortiz Scholarships. We would like to thank our food
vendors from Qdoba, Cilantros, Gaspars,
Smoothie King, Chocolates from Peterbrooke and
more. There were games, a Bouncy Doodle
with slide and basketball, Dunk Tank, Pie Throw and Detention water
balloons. Then the teachers from the
dunk tank and pie in the face got even with the students with water guns!!!
We hope to
have the 2nd Annual Fun and Food Olympiad next October!
Summer
is upon us. If anyone would like to
organize a car wash at the school. Maybe
also sell drinks and snacks, please contact Linda Shivers so she can
request permission from Mr. Hocevar.
Otherwise, we probably won’t have time for any other fundraisers for the
2008 Washington DC trip.
