Information for the 2008-2009 School Year New families are welcome to come and tour the school during the summer months while the school is open. No "formal" tours will be scheduled. On May 19, TCMS will mail important information about the upcoming school year to new and returning families . May 30 is the due date for the TCMS Car(es) Pool Registration Form and the Parent Information Sheet that you will receive in the mailing. This information needs to be compiled prior to the end of the school year by the Office of Student and Personnel Services. Please note that additional information about the upcoming school year will be included with this packet. July 10 (rev. 4/17/08) is the date you will be notified that the documents required for entry to TCMS for the 2008-2009 school year are available on the website for you to complete. Please be sure to notify helen.ratcliffe@tcmstornadoes.com if your e- mail address or home address has changed since your submitted the Parent Information Sheet to her at the end of May. July 28 is the deadline for all documents relating to the 2008-2009 school year to be returned to the Office of Student and Personnel Services. We ask that you please mark this very important date on your calendar, as we will not make any follow up phone calls to remind you to return your paperwork. Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, by not returning the paperwork by the specified date, it will be understood that you are declining your child's space at TCMS and that we can contact a student on the waiting list. You will be notified, by mail that your child’s name has been removed from the roster and to contact us if you want his/her name added to the end of the grade specific waiting list. Also, beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, the deadline for notifying us that your child will not be attending TCMS by phone or e-mail will be exactly three weeks prior to the first day of school. This will give us ample time to contact families whose children are on the waiting list so that they can make arrangements to attend TCMS on the very first day. We have a record number of students on the waiting lists for all grade levels this year, so we ask that you notify us either by phone, e-mail or letter on or before July 28 that your child will not be attending TCMS. If you are planning to be away during the month of July, please notify helen.ratcliffe@tcmstornadoes.com so that your 2008-2009 school year paperwork can be mailed (OR SENT HOME WITH YOUR STUDENT) to you prior to the end of the current school year.
